Onkod radio -Ministry of Education of the Federal Government of Somalia announced conducting National Examination 2024 in areas under the new SCC-Khatumo State for the first time in three decades.

State Minister of Education, Nura Mustafa Mukhtar said Thursday that the Ministry planned to take the examination at four headquarters in Buhodle and Lascano cities where the students will sit for the exam for the first time, describing it as an opportunity.

She did not mention number of students expected to sit for the exam tomorrow on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024 in SCC-Khatumo State, but more 37’000 students were confirmed to be sitting for exam in general according to the Ministry.

The Federal Ministry of Education will only manage school leaving(Secondary Schools) exams in Galmudug, Hirshabelle, Benadir region, Southwest, Jubaland States and SCC-Khatumo State excluding Puntland and Somaliland.
